Penfield Assist Digital is searching for a driven Business Development Manager with a passion for acquiring new clients. Are you sales orientated and ready for a new challenge within a dynamic pure Salesforce agency? Then we’re looking forward to meeting you as our new Business Development Manager!

What will you do?

As a Business Development Manager, your primary focus will be on generating new business and expanding our client portfolio. You will be the force behind finding and securing new clients who want to optimize their business processes with the Salesforce platform. Salesforce knowledge is not required for this role, but experience in the IT/CRM/Marketing Automation sector is a must. 

What are your Responsibilities?

  • Actively seek and approach new clients and market opportunities.
  • Building and managing the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals. 
  • Advising potential clients and convincing them of the value of our Salesforce (implementation) services.
  • Collaborating with the internal sales and our consultants, project managers and developers to offer tailored solutions for clients.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with the aim of creating long-term partnerships with different clients.

What are the Requirements we are looking for?

  • You are fluent in English (Dutch is an advantage).
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in a sales oriented role, preferably in the IT or SaaS industry.
  • Not afraid to pick up the phone, kick in doors and think outside the box
  • Experience working with complex sales processes and RFPs
  • Track record of hitting & exceeding commercial targets 
  • You are a enthusiastic and passionate self-starter, unafraid to challenge the status quo and to look at things from a different perspective
  • You can work independently but also know how to collaborate effectively with your team.
  • You have strong communication skills, are persuasive, and know how to convert prospects into satisfied clients.
  • Experience with Salesforce and/or other marketing automation solutions is a plus but not a requirement.
