Who we are looking for:
We are seeking a talented and driven Account Director (all genders) to join our team in the vibrant city of Amsterdam (Hybrid). As an Account Director, you will play a pivotal role in building and nurturing client relationships while identifying new business development opportunities within the Salesforce ecosystem.

What are your Responsibilities?

- Develop and execute effective business strategies within the Sales team to achieve client business goals

- Manage and grow existing accounts by upselling to target clients and proactively pursuing new opportunities

- Collaborate with Penfield Digital Senior Leadership to co-develop and support account plans, ensuring successful delivery, growth, and client satisfaction

- Stay informed about current and emerging trends, unique opportunities, and challenges in the markets and geographies where our clients operate, and apply this knowledge to drive their business initiatives

- Shape solutions, accurately scope and price engagements, and smoothly transition projects from the sales process to the delivery phase

- Foster strong relationships with clients at senior levels, as well as external and internal partners, maximizing growth within your account/portfolio

- Cultivate relationships with Salesforce internal Account Executives, BU heads, Solution SEs, and Sales and Delivery Leaders

- Drive revenue growth within your client portfolio and actively promote end-to-end Penfield Digital / Assist Digital services

- Support sales and pre-sales activities, including opportunity assessment, RFP response, proposal and presentation creation, client relationship development, and deal closure

What are the Requirements we are looking for?

- Demonstrated success in developing and expanding client relationships while effectively managing internal stakeholders

- Proven ability to provide consultative guidance, applying a meticulous and thoughtful approach to enhance clients' competitive advantage

- Knowledge of technology, digital landscapes, business models, and trends (experience within Salesforce is a plus)

- Strong problem-solving skills and a creative mindset

- Ability to ensure quality control by conducting regular quarterly reviews with clients, visiting office locations, and understanding their day-to-day operations

- Aptitude for guiding the team and resolving account-related challenges on a daily basis

- Tenacious and resourceful, with a determination to overcome obstacles and find solutions

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including seasoned presentation abilities

- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills

- Proven ability to manage client engagements under high-pressure circumstances, delivering successful outcomes

- Solid business acumen, strategic thinking, and strong negotiation skills

- Familiarity with local market dynamics and client support requirements

- A team player mindset, willing to assume various roles as needed for the team's success

Your superpowers, what you bring to the table.

- Minimum of 4 years of experience in account management/client success management (preferably within CMG/retail advertising)

- Strong communication and organizational skills, ensuring efficient and effective account management

- Demonstrated ability to understand and address customer problems by connecting teams, knowledge, and solutions

- Financial acumen for developing and managing project budgets

- Understanding of key healthcare issues and restrictions in major markets

- Entrepreneurial spirit combined with proven managerial abilities

- Strong analytical and strategic skills, complemented by above-average interpersonal abilities
